Do I need a referral?

You don’t need a GP referral to book with OneMRI, you can go direct. If you’ve got questions, we’re here to help. Just click the free consult button to chat with our team.

What does a scan include?

Your scan includes: the comprehensive whole-body MRI scan itself, a radiologist-reviewed report, and a follow-up consult with a doctor who explains your results.

Is it safe to do every year?

Yes. Our scans are radiation-free and contrast-free, making them safe for routine annual use... a great way to know your health baseline and check what changes over time. We also have an annual health plan coming soon.

How long does it take?

The scan takes 45–60 minutes. The full clinic visit may take a little longer, depending on your location and schedule.

Can I claim it on private health insurance?

Most private insurers do not currently cover preventive MRI scans. Check with your provider.

Before your scan

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes without metal. We’ll provide a gown if needed.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes, support persons are welcome at most locations.

Can I speak with someone before booking?

Absolutely. Book a free consult with our team.

During the scan

Is it noisy or enclosed?

MRI machines can be a little noisy, and some are enclosed. We’ll walk you through it and provide earplugs or headphones.

Will I feel anything?

No, the scan is non-invasive and pain-free.

Is it safe if I have implants or devices?

Let us know ahead of time, some implants may not be MRI-compatible.

After your scan

When will I get my results?

Most reports are available within two weeks. You’ll receive a consult with a doctor to explain them.

Who reviews my scan?

Every scan is reviewed by a radiologist and explained by a doctor.

Can I share the report with my doctor?

Yes, you’ll receive a copy that you can share with your healthcare team or local GP.
