What a full-body MRI may reveal
Your brain, spine and vital organs, looked at together rather than one at a time. A specialist radiologist reads the images and a doctor talks you through what was seen.
You don’t need a GP referral to book with OneMRI, you can go direct. If you’ve got questions, we’re here to help. Just click the free consult button to chat with our team.
What does a scan include?
Your scan includes: the comprehensive full-body MRI scan itself, a radiologist-reviewed report, and a follow-up consult with a doctor who explains your results.
Can I have the scan every year?
Our scans are radiation-free and contrast-free. MRI uses magnetic fields, not ionising radiation, so having a scan each year does not add to your radiation exposure. Many people use it as a health baseline and check what changes over time.
How long does the scan take?
The scan takes 45–60 minutes. The full clinic visit may take a little longer, depending on your location and schedule.
Can I claim it on private health insurance?
Most private insurers do not currently cover preventive MRI scans. Check with your provider.
