Cavernous haemangioma

Head & Neck

A cerebral cavernoma is a small cluster of abnormal blood vessels in the brain that can occasionally bleed or cause symptoms. Many people have one without ever knowing. An MRI may show signs of a cavernoma as an incidental finding. Knowing a cavernoma is present allows for monitoring and awareness of symptoms that might indicate a change.
