A cervical neurofibroma is a noncancerous tumour arising from nerve tissue in the neck. It can grow slowly and may be linked to neurofibromatosis. An MRI may show a soft tissue mass in the neck consistent with a neurofibroma. Finding a cervical neurofibroma allows for monitoring and surgical removal if it grows or causes symptoms.
