Chest wall tumour

Chest

Tumours can develop in the chest wall from bone, cartilage, muscle, or soft tissue. They may grow slowly and cause no obvious symptoms initially. An MRI may show a mass in the chest wall consistent with a tumour. Finding a chest wall tumour early may allow for surgical removal before it grows into surrounding structures.
