Glioblastoma is the most aggressive form of primary brain cancer. While it often presents with symptoms, early-stage changes can sometimes be visible before significant neurological impact. An MRI may show changes in brain tissue that could be associated with a high-grade glioma. Finding glioblastoma at an earlier stage may improve the range of treatment options available and allows for faster clinical intervention. MRI is the gold standard for brain tumour imaging including glioblastoma, providing detailed assessment of tumour extent and surrounding tissue.
