Laryngeal cancer

Head & Neck

Laryngeal cancer develops in the larynx, or voice box, and can cause voice changes or throat discomfort. MRI provides detailed soft tissue assessment of this region. An MRI may show changes in the larynx consistent with a mass or abnormal tissue. Finding laryngeal cancer early may allow for treatment that could help preserve voice function and improve survival outcomes.
