Iliac artery stenosis is a narrowing of the arteries supplying the pelvis and legs. It can reduce blood flow and cause symptoms of peripheral artery disease. An MRI may show changes in the iliac vessels consistent with narrowing. Finding iliac artery stenosis early allows for medical management and planning of intervention that may help prevent symptoms from becoming disabling.
