Splenic artery stenosis is a narrowing of the artery supplying the spleen. It can affect blood flow to the spleen and nearby organs. An MRI may show changes in the splenic artery consistent with narrowing. Finding splenic artery stenosis early allows for monitoring and may allow for treatment before it causes significant organ complications.
