Giant cell tumour of bone

Musculoskeletal & Spine

A giant cell tumour of bone is a locally aggressive noncancerous tumour that develops near the ends of long bones. It can cause bone breakdown if left untreated. An MRI may show changes in bone consistent with a giant cell tumour. Finding a giant cell tumour early may allow for surgical treatment before significant bone destruction occurs.
