An osteoid osteoma is a small noncancerous bone tumour that typically causes significant night pain. It most commonly affects long bones and the spine. An MRI may show changes in bone consistent with an osteoid osteoma. Finding an osteoid osteoma may allow for targeted treatment to help eliminate the source of pain.
