Osteosarcoma

Musculoskeletal & Spine

Osteosarcoma is the most common primary malignant bone tumour. It most commonly affects long bones and can cause pain that is initially vague or intermittent. An MRI may show changes in bone and surrounding soft tissue consistent with an osteosarcoma. Finding osteosarcoma early, when it is localised, may significantly improve treatment outcomes and limb preservation options.
