Spondylolisthesis

Musculoskeletal & Spine

Spondylolisthesis happens when one vertebra slips forward over the one below it. It can develop gradually and may cause back pain or nerve symptoms. An MRI may show changes in vertebral alignment consistent with slippage. Finding spondylolisthesis early allows for management that may help prevent progression and protect nerve function.
