Adrenal carcinoma is a rare malignant tumour of the adrenal gland. It can produce excess hormones or grow silently until it becomes large. An MRI may show a large or irregular adrenal mass that could be associated with a carcinoma. Finding adrenal carcinoma early, when it is small, may significantly improve treatment outcomes.
