Behcet's disease

Whole Body Systems

Behcet's disease is a uncommon autoimmune condition causing inflammation of blood vessels throughout the body. It can affect the brain, eyes, skin, and joints. An MRI may show changes in the brain and other affected structures consistent with Behcet's involvement. Finding Behcet's disease early may allow for treatment to help control inflammation before serious organ complications develop.
