A biliary cystadenoma is a rare cystic tumour of the liver or bile ducts. Most are harmless but some have the potential to become cancerous. An MRI may show a complex cystic mass in the liver consistent with a biliary cystadenoma. Finding a biliary cystadenoma early may allow for surgical removal before it grows or undergoes malignant change.
