Castleman disease

Whole Body Systems

Castleman disease is a uncommon condition involving overgrowth of lymph node tissue that can affect a single lymph node or multiple nodes throughout the body. An MRI may show enlarged lymph nodes consistent with this condition. Finding Castleman disease early may allow for treatment before it causes widespread organ involvement.
