A hepatic haemangioma is a noncancerous cluster of blood vessels in the liver. It is the most common noncancerous liver tumour and most people have no idea it is there. An MRI may show a vascular growth in the liver consistent with a haemangioma. Finding a hepatic haemangioma provides a baseline for monitoring and helps distinguish it from more concerning liver findings.
