Hodgkin lymphoma

Whole Body Systems

Hodgkin lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic system that can develop in lymph nodes throughout the body. It often presents without obvious symptoms in its early stages. An MRI may show enlarged lymph nodes or changes in lymphatic tissue consistent with lymphoma. Finding Hodgkin lymphoma early, when it is localised, may give excellent treatment outcomes. MRI is useful for assessing lymphomatous involvement of organs and bone marrow. PET-CT is commonly used alongside MRI for staging and treatment response.
