IgG4-related disease

Whole Body Systems

IgG4-related disease is an immune-mediated condition that can cause fibrous tissue and inflammation in almost any organ including the pancreas, kidneys, salivary glands, and bile ducts. An MRI may show changes in multiple organs consistent with IgG4 involvement. Finding IgG4-related disease early may allow for treatment before irreversible fibrosis develops in affected organs.
