Non-Hodgkin lymphoma

Whole Body Systems

Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is a group of blood cancers that develop in the lymphatic system. It can affect lymph nodes and organs throughout the body and may develop without clear early symptoms. An MRI may show changes in lymph nodes or organs consistent with lymphoma. Finding non-Hodgkin lymphoma early may allow for treatment before it spreads to multiple organ systems. MRI contributes to staging of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, particularly for assessing organ and bone marrow involvement. PET-CT is also commonly used.
