A pancreatic serous cystadenoma is a noncancerous cystic tumour of the pancreas made up of many tiny fluid-filled spaces. They are almost always harmless and found unexpectedly on imaging. An MRI may show a characteristic honeycomb-like cystic mass in the pancreas. Finding a serous cystadenoma allows for confirmation of its noncancerous nature and monitoring over time.
