A seminal vesicle cyst is a fluid-filled sac in one of the seminal vesicles, the glands that help produce seminal fluid. Most are harmless and found unexpectedly on imaging. An MRI may show a fluid-filled structure in the seminal vesicle region as an incidental finding. Finding a seminal vesicle cyst allows for confirmation of its noncancerous nature and monitoring over time.
