Soft tissue sarcomas are cancers that develop in the soft tissues of the body including muscle, fat, and connective tissue. They can occur anywhere in the body and may grow slowly before being noticed. An MRI may show a soft tissue mass with features that could be associated with a sarcoma. Finding a soft tissue sarcoma early, when it is small and localised, may significantly improve treatment outcomes.
