A splenic haemangioma is a noncancerous cluster of blood vessels in the spleen. Most are found unexpectedly on imaging and cause no symptoms. An MRI may show a vascular mass in the spleen as an incidental finding. Finding a splenic haemangioma provides a baseline for monitoring to ensure it remains stable over time.
