Uterine fibroids

Abdomen & Pelvis

Uterine fibroids are noncancerous growths that develop in or around the uterus. They are very common and many women have them without knowing. An MRI may show changes in the uterus consistent with the presence of fibroids. Finding fibroids early allows for monitoring and management before they grow large enough to cause symptoms or affect fertility.
