Wegener's granulomatosis, now called granulomatosis with polyangiitis, is a uncommon autoimmune condition causing inflammation of blood vessels in the nose, sinuses, throat, lungs, and kidneys. An MRI may show changes in affected structures consistent with vasculitic involvement. Finding this condition early may allow for treatment before significant organ damage occurs.
